Operations Project Manager

Job Purpose

The Operations Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects focused on improving FastLane’s existing business operations and new revenue opportunities. This role will ensure projects are completed according to timeline and budget – designating project resources and tasks, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed along the way. The Operations Project Manager will be a key contributor to the continued development of Franchise FastLane and our business offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

Lead projects focused on new revenue opportunities for Franchise FastLane as well as projects focused on improving our existing business operations. Projects examples could include:

    • Implementation of a new CRM
    • Implementation of Project Management Software and company wide systems
    • Organic Lead Marketing
    • Website Redevelopment
    • Learning Management System
    • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and deliver our projects.
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Create a detailed project management plan and other project documents
    • Maintain communication between the team, stakeholders, and clients
    • Assign, prioritize, and supervise project tasks (task management)
    • Ensure that all team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively
    • Create and deliver internal project reports. Track project performance using appropriate KPIs, metrics, tools, and techniques
    • Lead project team meetings on a regular basis
    • Collaborate with developers for technical implementation
    • Align general business objectives with the project’s goals
    • Manage the project’s budget and resources (including subcontractors)
    • Track project deliverables and outcomes with appropriate tools
    • Meet with individual team members to find and fix any issues
    • Foster a culture based on accountability

On-Boarding New Brands

  • Assist in the on-boarding process for all new Franchise FastLane brands until launch
  • Manage weekly on-boarding meetings
  • Ensure on-boarding project management tasks are being completed
  • Follow-up with team members on assigned tasks

Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and leadership team and make best efforts to support their needs and ensure project updates are effectively communicated to all affected parties
  • Could assist in the sunsetting process for brands
  • Special projects and events as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year school or equivalent experience
  • Proven work experience as a Project Manager or equivalent role
  • Practical knowledge of project management processes, workflows, and terminology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at the same time
  • Experience and understanding of franchising preferred
  • Project management certification preferred
  • General business knowledge a plus, to explain franchise opportunities
  • Software skills including but not limited to CRM software, project management software, conferencing software, Microsoft 365 platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and make strategic decisions
  • Self-starter
  • Leadership and management experience
  • A team player with high level of dedication

Working Conditions

  • The position is in Omaha, NE
  • Most of the duties are done in an office setting. o Monday – Friday: 8am or 9am – 5pm or 6pm
  • Some travel may be required
