Job Purpose

The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing efforts for our franchisor clients to keep our brands top of mind, create and execute strategies to find qualified franchise candidates, and manage Franchise FastLane’s marketing efforts to position ourselves as the franchise industry’s premier franchise sales organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Broker Network Management

  • Manage Franchise FastLane’s marketing efforts in keeping our brands top of mind with the broker networks through:
    • Regularly updating broker portals and keeping our franchisor client information up to date
    • Broker and Franchise Conferences: Managing registrations, travel, presentations, handouts, and booth set-up for Franchise FastLane and our Franchisor clients
    • Webinars: Work with broker networks to schedule FastLane and brand webinars and bonus calls
    • Executing the appreciation and recognition plan for broker accomplishments
    • Ensuring FastLane’s Consultant portal, Frick & FastLane, is always up to date with current brand information
    • Delivering deal announcements to broker networks, candidate pipelines and social media
    • Preparing referral agreements
    • Preparing content for broker network advertising opportunities such as magazines and email blasts
    • Special projects and events such as broker discovery days

Social Media Management & Content Creation

  • Keep all Franchise FastLane social media sites updated and engaging
  • With the use of FastLane’s graphic design/video specialist, create content for Franchise FastLane social media sites, websites and other distribution methods including but not limited to:
    • Press releases
    • Video content (brand launch/highlight videos, Fast Tips in the FastLane, etc.)
    • Info graphics
    • Advertisements
  • Quarterly review and update of Franchise FastLane’s brand magazine and other on-going marketing materials such as brand booklets

Website Management

  • Ensure the Franchise FastLane website is functioning properly and updated with relevant information
  • Review of our brand websites to ensure franchising information is accurate and in line with FastLane’s marketing and growth efforts
  • Management and execution of website improvements and new feature buildouts

Franchisor & FastLane Marketing Initiatives

  • Email marketing: create email marketing campaigns targeted at previous franchise candidates
  • Lead generation: work with franchise lead generation portals and pay per lead organizations to acquire franchise candidate leads
  • Coordinate marketing opportunities for franchisors to generate more qualified candidates
  • Execution of special projects such as referral programs, FastLane and brand events, etc.

  • Manage the Creative Specialist and the responsibilities of the creative specialist including but not limited to…
    • Job requirements and performance
    • Graphic Design
    • Copywriting
    • Video production
    • Material review
    • Prioritization of jobs

Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and leadership team and make best efforts to support their needs
  • Occasionally act as a back up to the sales support team
  • Assist with employee and vendor appreciation programs
Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year school or equivalent experience
    • Proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or equivalent role
    • Social media management experience
    • Experience and understanding of franchising preferred
    • General business knowledge a plus, to explain franchise opportunities
    • Software skills including but not limited to CRM software, project management software, conferencing software, marketing analytics, Microsoft platforms, Adobe Suite and other graphic design software
    • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to work under strict deadlines
Working Conditions
  • The position is in Omaha, NE
  • Most of the duties are done in an office setting.
    • Monday – Friday: 8am or 9am – 5pm or 6pm
  • Some travel may be required

Creative Specialist

Sales Support Administrator

Job Purpose

The Sales Support Administrator will uphold the highest standards of support for our team, clients and business partners. This person will have exceptional organizational, communication and technology skills while also being accountable and able to adapt to the multiple responsibilities that come along with working in a small company where everyone must be willing to expand beyond their normal day to day roles.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Data entry utilizing Franchise CRM system
    • Register franchise leads
    • Communicate registration confirmation with Brokers
  • Initial validation of liquid capital and net worth of organic leads
  • Brand territory checks using mapping software
  • Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to:
    • Answer incoming calls / make outbound calls
    • Coordinate client, broker and employee appreciation
    • Coordinate client and office events
    • Vendor relations
    • Filing
    • Mail management
    • Calendar management
    • Order office supplies
    • Maintain office organization and cleanliness
    • Willing to take on any additional administrative responsibilities as needed
  • First Impression of Franchise FastLane on phone calls and to office visitors
  • Coordinate travel for team members
    • Hotels, flights, etc. for discovery days and conferences
  • Back up to other sales support, operations, human resources and marketing roles as needed

Qualifications

  • Degree from a 2 or 4-year school or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven work experience as an administrator or sales support agent
  • Experience in franchising is preferred but not required
  • General business knowledge a plus, in order to explain franchise opportunities
  • Software skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), CRM software, real estate software, project management software, conferencing software
  • General computer and telephony skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding of business performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
