Franchise FastLane launched a first-of-its kind program in 2023 called CarPool. CarPool is a franchise development coaching and administrative services program that is a solution for the many, not just the few. After evaluating anywhere from 150-200 new concepts each year, we discovered many franchisors were facing the same common obstacles and challenges when it came to growth and expansion – specifically in the areas of sales support, training, and ongoing development. The solution was created by launching the CarPool program – franchise development assistance to help these emerging franchisors establish themselves in the industry and prepare for growth.

What is MaxStrength Fitness?

MaxStrength Fitness is a franchise concept that provides time-efficient and productive high-intensity strength training (HIT), nutritional consultation, and post-rehabilitation experiences in a boutique studio-style gym setting. MaxStrength provides twice-a-week, 20-minute resistance training sessions that focus on results derived from quality over quantity. What makes MaxStrength Fitness so special? Founder Jeff Tomaszewski shares his thoughts. “Our franchise stands out due to its unique, science-backed training protocol that’s not just about fitness but is therapeutic in nature. Unlike conventional gyms, where standard training might exacerbate orthopedic issues, our methodology is designed to aid in the rehabilitation of these issues, offering a service that goes beyond fitness. Kassia Garfield is one of the brand’s most successful franchisees and operates her boutique studio in Niceville, Florida. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Garfield has established a distinguished career as a physical health professional for more than a decade. As an advocate of anatomy, physiology, and health science, here’s how she became involved in the MaxStrength opportunity. “I've always known I wanted to be my own boss. I think the fitness industry is booming and I had some contacts that steered me in this direction when transitioning out of the service.” As for what attracted her to the brand’s unique business model, she shares the following. “My involvement in health care already had me working to keep the 45+ population out of the doctor’s office and into healthier lifestyles. The personalized, slow intensity training at MaxStrength provides a unique workout environment that’s different than a normal gym. It’s definitely an opportunity for the client who is looking for something less conventional.” How has the brand supported her entrepreneurial venture? “The MaxStrength Fitness corporate team has been nothing but beyond helpful, supportive and attentive. They’ve been there for me every step of the way and really are available any time of day. I’m signing clients up every week, and we’re growing at a pretty steady rate.” And as for her future with MaxStrength? “I plan to open one to two more studios after I get enough time and experience under my belt. I’d like to build out an empire in the Florida Panhandle, but one step at a time!”

 

How CarPool is Helping MaxStrength Grow and Expand

Founder Jeff Tomaszewski is quite enamored with the things he and his franchise development team are learning as part of Franchise FastLane’s CarPool program. Our specific growth strategies include targeted marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, and the continuous enhancement of our training protocols. We’re undertaking this effort to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of fitness and therapeutic exercise.
