Mosquito Shield Continues to Grow  in Florida, Welcoming Our Newest Franchisee to Central Tampa

The Florida Suncoast continues to expand, welcoming Theron B. as our newest owner of Central Tampa. Through its state-of-the-art solution to mosquito issues nationwide, Mosquito Shield has positioned itself to be the premier choice for homeowners who have invested in their outdoor living spaces. Theron has recognized this and is excited to begin planning to open his door to the community in the spring of 2023.

Theron is a northern transplant originally from Pittsburgh, who relocated to Florida in 2013 to escape the cold and snow. “I love the Tampa community and have been involved in the arts, theatre, and finding ways of helping others since moving here” says Theron. One of his favorite local organizations is Bay Area Greyhound Association, where he adopted one of his fur babies, R.R. Nashville. He also serves as Board Chair on the Arts Council of Hillsborough County.

Siting a lack of fulfillment in his career in healthcare, Theron was looking for an opportunity that would allow him to potentially transition for his current role. He is now committed to growing a successful business of his own and Theron feels that he is well positioned to impact society in a meaningful way – something that has always been important to him

What first attracted Theron to Mosquito Shield was the strong network of support and the unique position within the market given the more frequent spraying and proprietary products developed over the last 20 years the company has been in business. He also really feel confident with many of the changes that the company made when they were acquired by Five Star Franchising earlier this year, specifically implementing a dedicated sales center. The customer focus this provides, and the high retention rates were some of the key factors in Theron focusing his efforts on the brand.
