Husband-and-wife duo, Graig and Alice Weiss are thrilled to bring Bloomin’ Blinds to Philadelphia. For the past 13 years, Graig has been a president of a charter school in New Jersey. While there, he led the growth of the organization as it grew its student enrollment by more than 550 percent to serve more than 1,000 students. From his very first discussion with Bloomin’ Blinds, Graig saw the tremendous opportunity to serve his community while building a great financial future for his family. Upon his trip to Dallas for confirmation day where he met the three brothers, Kelsey, Kris, and Kevin, who started it all, he knew this was the “franchise family” he wanted to be a part of! Graig plans to be involved in the business full-time and will be hiring a full-time technician to run the vans while he manages the business.
Software developer, Aatif Rafique, was recently awarded three territories in the New Jersey market. Aatif is married and is a proud dad to three young girls. He has worked his way up the corporate ladder, starting at the associate level to now leading a team of six individuals. Additionally, he has been in a mentoring role for the last 10 years, finding a true passion for helping others succeed in their careers. That experience and expertise will come in handy as he plans to keep his full-time job to get started and will hire a general manager to help him build his Bloomin’ Blinds franchise business!
Two best friends, a U.S. Navy officer and a medical device salesman, are awarded three territories in Boise, ID. Rich is a medical services sales leader with 23 years of experience in complex biologics, pathology, neuro rehab and clinical diagnostics industries. He has a great deal of training and experience in the consultative process, team building and staff development. Mike is an officer in the U.S. Navy currently serving as a lieutenant commander. He is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in solar energy and land development for alternative energy providers. Their combined skills and personalities make them incredibly qualified to build a great team to run their business semi-absentee while they continue to manage their full-time employment obligations!
