Franchise FastLane Rearview Mirror: What Happened in July
We’ve just passed the midpoint of the year here at Franchise FastLane, but there’s plenty more in store for us through the remainder of 2024. July has been another busy month for our FastLaners, with important conference events, new company milestones achieved, and some intriguing news from our brand partners to share. For a full rewind of everything you may – or may not - have missed the past 31 days, we present our monthly roundup in this edition of Franchise FastLane’s Rear View Mirror – What Happened in July.
Conferencing Our Way Through July…
When it comes to representing the brands in our portfolio, we stop at nothing to get the word out. One of the most impactful ways we go about this is through our networking efforts. With so many consultants in the franchising space, the many conferences, retreats, and conventions we attend offer us a chance connect with our valued partners. Our team kicked off the month at the Franserve 2024 Annual Convention – held at Walt Disney World in Orlando. Our team had many opportunities to network with industry leaders, vendors, suppliers, new franchisors, and – you guessed it – Mickey and Minnie Mouse too (no, seriously!). Attendees were treated to a fireworks show from the EPCOT Terrace, wrapping up an unforgettable three-day event. Congratulations are in order for Shrunk 3D as this brand was named a Top Pick Franchise while in Orlando! Following the FranServe Convention, our FastLaner’s headed to the FranChoice 2024 Summer Conference, which was held in Memphis, TN. The three-day extravaganza featured a packed agenda, full of presentations, games, and a visit from one of the foremost Elvis impersonators around! Memphis may be the birthplace of blues music, but our reps had a rockin’ good time networking with attendees. To round out the week, we want to give a shoutout to our very own Kelly Macht for receiving the Consultant’s Choice Award and Gameday Men’s Health for making Top Honor Roll and Master Closer.
A New Addition to Our Portfolio of Brands
In July, Franchise FastLane announced that Degree Wellness has joined our portfolio of best-in-class brands. This emerging franchisor offers consumers a wide variety of self-care solutions in state-of-the-art retail studios - empowering them to feel, look, and be their best selves. Each of Degree Wellness’ innovative services are scientifically backed solutions, including Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy, Cold Plunge, Contrast Therapy, IV Drips, and Vitamin Booster Injections. It’s a holistic approach designed to help consumers with enhanced energy, pain relief, detoxification, boosted metabolism, and many more anti-aging and healthy lifestyle solutions. In the official announcement, the brand revealed their partnership with Franworth, an industry leader in helping franchisors scale operations, as well as an ambassador role with NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Drew Brees. We can’t wait to see all that Degree Wellness will do!
FastLane Workforce Updates…
Franchise FastLane is pleased to welcome another new member to our family! In July, we hired Katie Randall as one of our new Compliance Specialists. Katie is married and together they have a 10-month old son, as well as a black Labrador named Brutus and two cats – Kevin and Boots. She also loves the outdoors – especially hunting and fishing. We’re glad to have Katie and can’t wait for her contributions to the team!
In related news, our very own Anna Huelle has been promoted to the role of Senior Director of Marketing – a most well-deserved honor. Anna has been with Franchise FastLane for the past four years, where she’s made untold contributions for our portfolio of brands while running our internal marketing efforts. Anna is married with two young boys and loves all things about being a mom outside of the office.
Lastly, two FastLaners achieved some noteworthy milestones, as T.J. Kissane just awarded his 1,500th territory and Mike Baguley just awarded his 500th. Keep up the good work, gents!

Time for our roundup of brand-specific updates!
Bloomin’ Blinds – gathered their masses for the brand’s annual “Family Reunion,” which was held at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. Over a three-day period, Bloomin’ Blinds hosted franchise owners from around the country for some nonstop excitement of networking, fun, and learning. They also scored an A-List guest for the occasion, Matt Haller, current president of the International Franchise Association (IFA).
Brothers Who Just Do Gutters – this FastLane brand, part of the Evive Brands family, welcomed a new CEO in Ryan Parsons, who also happens to be the co-founder of Brothers Gutters. Clearly, the parent company saw the potential in Parsons’ leadership and felt the need to experience it themselves! Congratulations to both Parsons and Brothers Gutters on this exciting promotion.
