Soccer Stars is thrilled to welcome new owner Marieli F. in Austin, TX. Marieli is no stranger to the world of entrepreneurship and franchising – soon after giving birth to her daughter (who is now 17), she invested in a Farmers insurance business and was very successful for well over a decade. She did very well with Farmers, but decided it was time for her next chapter. Given her experience, Marieli understood the value of a good Franchisor – support, systems, training, branding, and more. She knew she didn’t want to start something from scratch. Even more so, she knew that she wanted to do something that would bring people in her community joy (especially kids as she has two of her own and who are both involved in youth sports, as is her husband as a coach). Marieli evaluated multiple franchise brands in the youth enrichment space. In the end, it was the Soccer Stars corporate team (and their tenure) combined with the quality of the curriculum and the ‘Parent & Me’ program designed for the very young kids that confirmed for Marieli that this was ‘it’ for her. marieli Flores- soccerstars

Originally from Seattle, Marieli and her family moved to Austin for the warmer weather and absolutely love it. Both of her kids are very active (specifically volleyball and basketball) and her husband has his own construction/compliance company. Marieli purchased a Farmers location in Austin prior to making the move and ended up tripling the book of business she purchased and then selling it after seven years. As a busy, hard-working, entrepreneurial Mom, Marieli was always looking for quality youth enrichment programs for her young kids. They had some great experiences and some not-so-great. Through these experiences, Marieli recognized how crucial programs like Soccer Stars are for not just her own children, but for kids in general. She also witnessed how powerful the relationships are in the mobile youth enrichment space as she become more embedded and connected in the Austin community. One concern of Marieli’s early on was that she is not a soccer person – she did not play, nor did her children (for long). As she continued through the process, she realized that this was not an important success factor for a Soccer Stars Franchisee. After attending Confirmation Day, Marieli was left feeling very confident in her ability to execute the business. The best practices, operational tools, curriculum, and infectious energy lead her to say ‘yes’ to her next chapter of success with Soccer Stars.

“I know I haven’t officially trained yet, but I already have at least one location as secured as possible and also have my first potential coach lined up. I can’t wait to get started!” – Marieli F.

Soccer Stars is uniquely positioned in the incredibly important youth enrichment space with their 20+ years of experience, thematic class curriculum, and crib to college (ages 1-14+) programs.
