Vice President of Marketing

There is no monotony in this position due to the diversified challenge of managing campaigns for multiple franchisors to help drive their explosive growth.

Job Purpose

The Vice President of Marketing will manage the marketing efforts for our franchisor clients to keep our brands top of mind, create and execute strategies to find qualified franchise candidates, and manage Franchise FastLane’s marketing efforts positioning us as the franchise industry’s premier franchise sales organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Collaborate with other company leaders to establish multi-channel FastLane and brand partner marketing strategy
  • Work with Fastlane President to manage budget, create forecast and align around marketing department organization team structure
  • Establish and continue to develop brand equity for Franchise FastLane as well as brand partners

Collateral & Content Creation

  • Build a world class content team for both FastLane services and the franchise opportunities of our franchisor brands
  • Lead FastLane’s effort in building a robust library of marketing collateral that will be used to market FastLane’s services as well as the franchisor opportunities we represent. Including but not limited to…
    • Building a Content Calendar
    • Deliver education and best practice when buying a franchise
    • Drive industry news
    • Build the FastLane reputation as the best Franchise Sales Organization in the country.
  • Develop content around Franchise FastLane and our brands for multiple platforms including but not limited to social media, email, SEO, etc.

Franchise Brand Media Buys and ROI

  • Lead generation: work with franchise lead generation portals and pay per lead organizations to acquire franchise candidate leads
  • Work with FastLane brands to establish media buys and place those buys internally or through a third party
  • Manage/Oversee A-B testing to better understand which messages and which platform produce the best ROI
  • Uses Google Analytics and other tools to report results back to FastLane brands and establishes future budgets/forecasts
  • Collaborates with the Lead Qualification Team to establish best practices, understand candidate demographics and psychographics and optimize lead generation activity
  • Coordinate marketing opportunities for franchisors to generate more qualified candidates

Team Responsibilities

Broker Network Management

  • The Vice President will manage a team to keep Franchise FastLane’s brands top of mind with the broker networks through:
    • Managing deliverables that come along with FastLane sponsorships
    • Broker and Franchise Conferences: Managing registrations, travel, presentations, handouts, and booth set-up for Franchise FastLane and our Franchisor clients
    • Webinars: Work with broker networks to schedule FastLane and brand webinars and bonus calls
    • Executing the appreciation and recognition plan for broker accomplishments
    • Ensuring FastLane’s portal and broker portals are always up to date with current brand information
    • Delivering deal announcements to broker networks, candidate pipelines and social media
    • Preparing referral agreements
    • Preparing content for broker network advertising opportunities such as magazines and email blasts
    • Quarterly review and update of Franchise FastLane’s brand booklet and other on-going marketing materials
    • Special projects and events such as broker discovery days

Social Media Management

  • Manage a team that keeps all Franchise FastLane social media sites updated and engaging
  • With the use of FastLane’s graphic design/video specialist, create content for Franchise FastLane social media sites, websites and other distribution methods including but not limited to:
    • Press releases
    • Video content (brand launch/highlight videos, Fast Tips in the FastLane, etc.)
    • Info graphics
    • Advertisements
    • Create social engagement

Website Management

  • Ensure the Franchise FastLane website is functioning properly and updated with relevant information
  • Review of our brand websites to ensure franchising information is accurate and in line with FastLane’s marketing and growth efforts
  • Ongoing management and execution of website optimization, design and new feature buildouts

Franchisor & FastLane Marketing Initiatives

  • Email marketing: create email marketing campaigns targeted at multiple channels such as pipelines, consultant partners and previous franchise candidates
  • Execution of special projects such as referral programs, consultant events, other FastLane and brand events, etc.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and leadership team and make best efforts to support their needs
  • Lead other initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year school or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Proven work experience as a Marketing Leader in an Agency setting or similar
  • 10+ years of online media placement and ROI tracking experience
  • 5+ years Social media management experience
  • Email campaign experience preferred
  • Branding and marketing collateral creation experience preferred
  • Experience and understanding of franchising preferred
  • Software skills including but not limited to CRM software (HubSpot preferred), project management software, conferencing software, marketing analytics, Microsoft platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and make strategic decisions

Working Conditions

  • The position is in Omaha, NE
  • Most of the duties are done in an office setting.
  • Monday – Friday: 8am or 9am – 5pm or 6pm
  • Some travel may be required
