The Role:

The Sales Support Specialist will uphold the highest standards of support for our team, clients, and business partners. This person will have exceptional organizational, communication and technology skills while also being accountable and able to adapt to the multiple responsibilities that come along with working in a small company where everyone must be willing to expand beyond their normal day-to-day roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data entry utilizing Franchise CRM system
  • Register franchise leads
  • Communicate registration confirmation with consultants
• Brand territory checks using mapping software
• Scheduling/Rescheduling candidate calls
• Management of inactive accounts
• Validation/Leadership weekly email & text reminders
• Lead status reporting
• Minimal qualification of organic leads
• Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to:
  • Answer incoming calls / make outbound calls
  • Coordinate client, consultant, and employee appreciation
  • Coordinate client and office events
  • Vendor relations
  • Filing
  • Mail management
  • Calendar management
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness
  • Willing to take on any additional administrative responsibilities as needed
• First impression of Franchise FastLane on phone calls and to office visitors
• Back up to other sales support, operations, human resources, and marketing roles as needed
• Maintaining consultant network portals with current brand information

Qualifications:

General business knowledge is a plus, in order to explain franchise opportunities

Degree from a 2 or 4-year school or equivalent experience preferred

Proven work experience as a sales support agent

Experience in franchising is preferred but not required

The Role:

The Director of Franchise Development will uphold the highest standards of support for our team, franchisee candidates, franchisors, and broker networks. This person must be skilled in business knowledge and have the ability to influence others while managing human emotions around making life-changing decisions. This person needs to relate very well with others and have the capacity to manage many leads at once. This person must have exceptional organizational, communication, and people skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Franchise Candidate Management
  • Responsible for the entire sales process start to finish and the experience offered to the franchise candidate
  • Ensure the franchise candidate is well informed and properly motivated to purchase a franchise utilizing the following 
    • Introduction presentations
    • Unit Economics presentations
    • Franchise Disclosure Document reviews
    • Franchise and Leadership validation calls
    • Territory mapping
    • Financing and Legal mentorship
  • Ensure franchise validation and leadership calls are well organized, well attended and well run
  • Keep accurate records in the CRM system on candidate profiles, history, conversations, and other relevant information in the buying process
  • Franchise FastLane’s key leader for all Confirmation Days (discovery days) including but not limited to:
    • Preparing the franchisor and franchisee candidates
    • Ensuring the Sales Support team reserves accommodations
    • Presenting at Confirmation Day
    • Managing the overall messaging and call to action post Confirmation Day all the way through the signing of the franchise agreement and the closing process.
      
• Broker/Franchise Consultant Management
  • Ensure broker networks are fully informed and motivated to recommend your primary brand to their clients is done through:
    • Launch presentations.
    • Regular update presentations throughout the year
    • Attending franchise broker conferences
    • In person presentations to broker networks
    • Frick & Frack – Direct phone calls, emails, and texts
    • Developing strong relationships with brokers and being known as someone who treats their clients well and can get candidates
    • Writing and posting deal announcements

• Franchisor Management

• Lead member of FastLane responsible to ensure the franchisor is prepared to sign on new franchisees, this includes many things and requires candidate to be resourceful
  • Ensure franchisor clients are prepared and informed on how to effectively convert candidates into franchisees, this is primarily done through:
    • Constant communication
    • Updates on franchisee candidates likes, dislikes and hot buttons
    • Influencing the franchisor on how to improve the process and set up a program that is attractive to franchisee candidates
• Cross brand awareness
  • Depending on lead flow, this position may be asked from time to time to assist other brands or projects that are not their primary franchisor brand.
• Report development
  • Continually update the on-going reports needed to keep their respective VP of Franchise Development and the Executive Vice President of Development informed of leads and lead statuses.

Qualifications:

• Degree from a 4-year school or equivalent experience preferred
• Proven work experience as key leader in an organization with the ability to make difficult decisions, have difficult conversations and influence decision makers
• Proven work experience in sales with a track record of success
• Experience in franchising is preferred
• General business knowledge to explain franchise opportunities
• Software skills including but not limited to Microsoft Suite, CRM software, Territory software, project management software, conferencing software
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of business performance metrics
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Travel experience
• A team player with high level of dedication
